All foundations no matter the builder has to meet building regulations and be inspected and approved by an independent inspector. Typical foundations for a standard size extensions will be £6,000.

The average cost for a full electric package to an extension is in the region of £2,400. This covers internal & external electrics on a standard design.

Plumbing is on average £2,000 and more if moving boiler or supplying underfloor heating etc

Please take into account the many optional extras such as log burners, heating options, roof options such as zinc and roof windows. We recommend using quality internal doors. Allow on average £3500 for a standard kitchen fit and more if supplying services to an island.
